Sikadur®-52 STP is a two-component, solvent-free, low-viscosity epoxy resin, which is a pressure-injected steel structure adhesive. It is used for lattice and closed wet external steel structure reinforcement projects.

Construction details:

Base conditions and base treatment: The age of the concrete base is at least 28 days

(1) For concrete:

It needs to have sufficient strength (compressive strength ≥25MPa, tensile strength ≥1.5MPa, or meet the design requirements). The base surface must be clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, loose particles and other impurities that affect adhesion.

(2) For steel:

The base surface must be clean, free of grease, paint, rust, old coating and other impurities that affect adhesion. In order to improve the adhesion, according to ISO12944, it is recommended that the steel surface be sandblasted to Sa2.5 level.

Recommended dosage:

Recommended dosage: 10 kg of Sikadur-52 STP has a volume of about 9 L after stirring

Mixing:

Mixing ratio: Component A: Component B = 2:1 (weight ratio)

Mixing method: Pour component B into component A and stir at low speed (250rpm) for at least 3 minutes. Avoid entraining air during stirring to ensure thorough mixing.

Storage conditions and shelf life:

From the date of production, store in the original package in a dry environment at 5°C~30°C and avoid direct sunlight. The shelf life is 24 months.
